2008 Message from the President, Mr. Yen B Toy
I want to express my sincere thanks
for your generous donations and support to the Gin Sun Hall Benevolent
Association. In fact, you are a critical partner in the process that has
helped the Association complete its project in 2007.
With your continued generosity, you
will empower us to continue searching for new ways to make your
membership with the Association a meaningful one.
In an effort to enhance the
fund-raising capabilities of our non-profit organisation, we are focused
on strengthening the relationship with our generous alumni as well as
enhancing the ways all members can contribute their time, resources, and
funds in the next year. Imagine having enough funds available to address
the needs of all members and for special activities.
Building on the success of last
year's project, the 2008 season includes:
- Expanding the membership drive
to include mailing in English and Chinese to residents and
businesses in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan.
- Scheduling speakers for
business seminars and students for tutoring programs.
We hope you will continue to help
us fulfil our mission to serve you and your community with some of the
new events we have in mind. After all, it is your guidance and past
support that fuel all of our efforts.
The Association is your
organisation. We know that you expect us to deliver an experience
that effect and enrich the community.
We are determined to live up to
your expectations. Thank you again for reaffirming your commitment to
A Year in Review
